I Shall Not Live In Vain

A dear friend, a second father through my high school years and beyond, passed away on Sunday.  I will miss that grin he always had for me.  I love you, Roy!

If I can stop one Heart from breaking
I shall not live in vain
If I can ease one Life the Aching
Or cool one Pain
Or help one fainting Robin
Unto his Nest again
I shall not live in Vain.
Emily Dickinson

His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.’

Matthew 25:23
